Mobile Plant Mining Light Vehicle Mechanic FIFO Townsville

The ideal candidates will have experience with working on Toyotas, repairing mobile and plant equipment along with a positive attitude which will see you complete this role in a safe and efficient manner. This role will require you to work both independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating a high standard of professional workmanship.

This position will be on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster, Day & Night Shifts.

The role will be based at a remote North QLD mine site. FIFO from Townsville or DIDO from Mt Isa with camp style accommodation provided.

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role you will need;

  • Valid Manual Drivers License (C Class or higher)
  • Australian Trade Certificate – LV Mechanic
  • Ability to pass low risk Medical and Physical
  • Demonstrated experience on mobile equipment and Toyota’s
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment
