Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defense,Marine and Commercial Industries.

An excellent opportunity has become available for

  • Suitably qualified and experienced Boilermaker/
  • Welders to join the Orontide Team for the Leinster Shaft project.
  • This is a FIFO based role. 2:1 roster.

To be successful for this position, you must have the following:

  • Relevant Full Fabrication Australian recognized trade
    qualification
  • Previous experience working underground
  • Previous experience working on Leinster will be highly regarded
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Working at heights
  • Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Senior First Aid
  • Section 44 Mines Safety and Inspections Act 1994
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
  • Forklift (LF) ticket

To succeed in this position, you will need to have industry related experience within similar positions, a strong work ethic and strong safety focus.

The ability to carry out work with minimal supervision, a keen and enthusiastic approach to your work and willingness to work over time will help you ensure success in these roles.
