The Role

Easternwell have a 3-month contract with a large mining organization to provide a shutdown camp for 3 1/2 months. They are searching for a number of housekeepers to work 2 swings on a 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster, travelling out to the Cooper Basin to help maintain the cleanliness on a 200 man mining camp with first crew starting starting early october. The successful candidates will on a daily basis be required to clean rooms (showers, toilets, and basins), strip and make beds, wash and fold laundry, clean walkways, dining rooms, and assist where needed.

What’s needed?

  • Atleast 1 year Experience in commercial cleaning (preferably in mining or oil and gas)
  • Availability for early October start
  • Commitment and Initiative
  • An open manual Drivers Licence
  • Current National Police Certificate is preferable (has to be within the last 3 months)

Please note, this position is FIFO from Brisbane, and they require the successful chef’s to reside locally. No relocation or travel assistance is able to be offered for this role. Field Based Role – 3 weeks on/3 weeks off.
