Mine Controller Major Blue Chip Mining operation Perth WA

Programmed Professionals is currently seeking a Mine Controller for a role with major Blue Chip mining client. The purpose of this position is to support on-site mining operations by using Fleet Management Software to coordinate the dispatch of mining equipment and personnel.

The main responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Real time dispatching of mining equipment and personnel to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensuring the Fleet Management System is used to its full capacity
  • Prioritizing between conflicting demands
  • Liaising with mine schedulers, maintenance personnel and other stakeholders

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A competent and experienced user of either Leica/Jigsaw or Mine star Fleet Management System
  • Experience in a mine/dispatch control role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • ‘C’ Class Drivers License
