Metallurgist Mining Processing Plant – FIFO QLD

This mining house situated in North West Queensland is seeking an experienced Metallurgist for an immediate vacancy.

Your new role

Reporting into the Metallurgical Superintendent you will be responsible for working in a team of metallurgical professionals to maximize the performance of the copper concentrator.

This will also include evaluating, developing and progressing various metallurgical projects to increase production and critical equipment efficiency. This role is available on a 14:7 or 9:5 roster.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need a tertiary qualifications in either minerals processing, extractive metallurgy, chemical engineering or similar.

Demonstrated experience within copper flotation is highly regarded as is a comprehensive understanding of metallurgical process optimization and Metallurgical Accounting. Experience with Courier OSA Machines is also desirable.
