Mechanical Tradesperson Mine Site Maintenance NSW

The opportunity

They have a position available for a Mechanical Tradesperson to be a part of the Regional Maintenance team within Regional and Freight Division. The Mechanical Tradesperson is a multi-graded position with Grade 1 as the entry level with no per-requisite competencies; Grade 2 or 3 with competencies as described in the Wages and Classification Structure and indicated under Additional Competencies on the Position Description.

As the Mechanical Tradesperson, you will primarily undertake maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment. You may also be required to supervise apprentices or staff assisting other Mechanical Tradespersons.

To be successful in this role, you possess trade qualifications as an Automotive Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent, ability to understand and follow instructions and work procedures including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Remuneration package: RMS Trades Mechanical Grade 1-3 ($1,169.61-$1,294.42 per week), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
