Longwall Automation Technicians – Underground Coal Mine jobs in QLD

About the role

Are you ready to get out of the dust, operate state of the art equipment and bring longwall mining into the future? Training will be provided to the right candidates as new and exciting innovative equipment is introduced into this longwall mine.

Skills and experience

• Minimum 5 years experience as an operator, electrical or mechanical tradesman in LW mining.
• Electrical trade certification and Queensland electrical license preferred but not essential.
• Mechanical trade certification preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of LW automation systems preferred but not essential.
• Current Australian Passport and Driver’s license.
• Current Surface and Underground Standard 11 Induction Training.
• Current Coal Board Medical including chest X-ray for underground work.
• Glencore Generic Induction preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team and unsupervised.
