There client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of heavy earth-moving machinery, is currently seeking HD Fitters and Yard hands for their workshop based in Perth’s Eastern Suburbs.

Heavy Duty Fitters Yard Hands Mechanical Machinery Perth WA

As a HD Fitter you will be required to assist in assembling engine modules, hydraulic tanks, fuel tanks and component overhaul. General servicing and maintenance of the equipment may also be required. Commencing immediately, this is a long term position and you may be required to work on a 10:4 roster, 10 hours per day (workshop based with potential site based work). Pay rate is $42/hr flat rate.

In order to be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (Australian recognized)
  • Recent relevant experience working on heavy earth-moving equipment
  • Construction White Card
  • WA C Class Drivers Lenience
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a D&A test

Heavy Duty Fitters Yard Hands Mechanical Machinery Perth WA

As a Yard Hand you will be required to perform various duties including forklift operation, assisting with deliveries and pick-ups, cleaning of parts and general waste management. This is a three month assignment with potential to extend further, working up to 10 hours per day and weekends as required. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is searching to get into a Mechanical or Fabrication Trade and is seeking a foot in the door.

In order to be considered for the role, you must have:

  • High Risk Forklift License
  • Good communication skills
  • Keen and switched on attitude
  • WA C Class Drivers License
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a D&A test
