Heavy Diesel Mechanic Underground Mining Site FIFO Brisbane QLD
Murray Engineering is a Perth and Kalgoorlie based company providing a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical maintenance services. The Heavy Duty Mechanic position will be based at Capricorn Copper site and is a permanent ongoing role for the right candidate.
This position requires a positive team orientated employee with the ability to think on his/her feet as a part of a small crew on both a day or night shift at an underground gold mine. The role will entail a mixture of Underground breakdowns, workshop servicing and repair work.
The role will be on a 2:1 roster, 12 hours shifts, working days/ nights, FIFO Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville is available with flights, accommodation and a generous permanent hourly rate offered.

Requirements for consideration:
- Relevant trade certification
- Ability to attain a NPC
- Current Driver’s license
- Ability to pass LABDAS and full pre-employment medical
- A good attitude towards safety
- Self motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience working on mobile plant equipment
