Heavy Diesel Fitter – Hunter Valley Mining
WorkPac are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter for Client Yancoal for their local Hunter Valley Open Cut Mine site located near Singleton.
As directed by the Client you will be working a Rotating 4 Panel Roster (12 hour Day & Night Shifts). This position require you to reside within 80km of site, therefore successful applicants must be local or willing to relocate to the Singleton/Maitland area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum 4+ years plus experience carrying out repairs, maintenance, servicing and diagnostic on Caterpillar and Komatsu Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Excavators and or large earth-moving equipment. Hydraulic and engine diagnosis skills would be highly advantageous.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety
- Good Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Able to work Autonomously and in a Team environment
- Experience in maintenance and repair of mobile plant equipment in a mining environment
- Certificate of Proficiency in your trade
- Working at Heights
- Current Drivers License
Desirable Skills and willingness to obtain:
- Confined Space
- Forklift License
- Elevated Working Platform
- Dogman Ticket
- MDG25
The successful applicant must be willing to undergo a pre-employment Coal Board Order 41 Compliant Medical.
