Fixed Plant Mining Maintenance Superintendent Queensland
A leading international mining group who are committed to sustainable development are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent to work at one of their prestigious mining operations based in South East Asia. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance
Management of the fixed plant and will include the following:
- Open Pit and Underground Dewatering systems.
- Underground electrical infrastructure both surface and UG.
- Underground fixed plant infrastructure including the Primary Ventilation and General Service systems.
- Managing teams across the UG maintenance on dewatering pump systems, including preventative maintenance services and pump rebuilds.
- Working in conjunction with the mobile maintenance superintendent
This is a business critical role where you will be a key member of the Maintenance Leadership Team with the ability to influence all aspects of their operation. You will have the opportunity to deliver a reduction in breakdowns and develop planned work schedules for corrective works along with shutdowns.

Qualifications and skills required for the role:
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in an operational maintenance at a superintendent level . You will have an extensive background in maintenance planning, project work, managing teams of supervisors and maintenance staff. It is also preferable if you have worked across underground and open cut hard rock mining functions.
You will have strong leadership skills, be capable of clearly setting goals and managing performance of individuals and teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Initially this is a 12-month contract role which could be extended for the right candidate working on a 28/14 roster FIFO from Australia.
