Driller Operator – FIFO

This organization is an industry leader within the raise drilling solutions working throughout Australia and Overseas. This client is starting a new contract within the region and will have an ongoing contract.

Role

Your new role is a raise bore driller operators that is required for an ongoing role within the Cobar region. It is important for previous experience within a similar role within an underground mine site. This role is a Fly In and Fly Out role from either Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane for the ongoing contract.

What you’ll need to succeed

You must be an experienced raise drill operator that also holds a certification to operate with the minimum certification required being RIINHB312D Conduct Raise boring. The candidate MUST also have the following current certifications:

  • Provide First Aid
  • Perform Basic Dogging
  • Perform Basic Rigging
  • Work Safely at Heights

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
