POSITION SUMMARY: Excavator operator jobs Queensland coalfields
The GO2 People are currently searching to employ several Experienced Excavator Operators who have recent production Mining experience.
We currently have roles available to operate CAT 6060 on Curragh Coal Mine, this will be within a Production capacity.
You will be working on a 7:7 Day/Night Rotating Roster.
Camp Accommodation & Meals are provided.
This is an exciting opportunity, the client that we are working with has excellent company culture and has opportunities to transfer people permanently.
An Ideal Candidate would possess the following;
- RII or Equivalent for the above listed machinery
- Recent Relevant experience in a similar role
- Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 Induction Training Induction
- DIDO position have own reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment and DAS

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
