Experience Excavator Operators

Calling all experienced Coal Mine operators in QLD! WorkPac have multiple roles for Haul Truck, Multi Skill and Excavator Operators on a mine site near Middlemount. 7/7 Rosters | Camp Provided | Weekly Pays | Super paid on all hours | Quarterly Bonuses | Max Term Contract and Casual Positions are available!

Pre-requisites for the role include:

  • Minimum 2 years experience Operating in Coal Mining
  • Experience operating Excavator O&K340 & Hitachi 5500/2500
  • Current Standard 11 Induction Training
  • Current Coal Board Medical
  • Current Drivers License
  • Signed Skills List or RII’s

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
