There client provides leading mechanical, fabrication and electrical service provider to the Central Queensland region, providing services to the mineral resources and processing industries.
They offer a full range of engineering services to customers and have comprehensively equipped workshop facilities.
With the up-turn in mining exploration in the region this client has a need for 5 Diesel Fitters to work at Caval Ridge – roster yet to be determined. You will be working on large earth-moving machinery – diggers, drills, dump trucks and drag-lines etc.

You will be required to have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Trade Qualifications
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Standard 11 Induction Training
  • BMA Inductions (preferred)
  • 2 recent professional references

In return offer is:

  • Pay rate $42/hour (FLAT) for first 8 hours then $55/hour (FLAT) for remaining hours. Saturday and Sunday all hours $55.hour flat.
  • Daily Site Allowance
  • Night Allowance
  • Travel paid – $34/hour
  • BIBO or Shared transport
  • Accommodation/meals supplied
  • Ongoing work
  • ASAP start
  • Possibility of permanent role
