Coordinator Permit – FIFO Mine Pilbara WA
Roy Hill represents the next generation of integrated iron ore mine, rail and port operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Situated approximately 340 kilometers south east of Port Hedland, world-class operation is the only independent iron ore business with West Australian majority ownership.

Roy Hill’s purpose built, world-class mine processing plant is the largest and most advanced single feed plant in the Pilbara and utilizes low risk, proven technology to process 55Mtpa (Wet) of lump and fines iron ore. We are now searching for a Coordinator Permit to work as part of the production team and be accountable for providing coordination of plant isolation for the Production and Maintenance teams.
You will play a pivotal role in contributing to positive isolation of the plant and in optimizing procedures.
Your duties will include:
- Developing isolation plans & strategies for the processing plant.
- Conducting isolation’s in accordance with procedures.
- Providing on the job training for maintenance employees on single isolation procedures.
- Arranging permits & isolation equipment in advance of shut downs.
- Ensuring isolation activities are scheduled in accordance with production and maintenance plans.
‘The Real You’
As the ideal Coordinator Permit , you will have extensive experience as an isolation officer working in a fixed plant mining operation with wet processing facility or complex process facility. A mechanical or electrical trade certificate are desirable.
You will also have:
- A current WA C class drivers license.
- A strong understanding of SAP or similar system.
