CHPP Operator Maintainer – Coal Mining in Queensland
The Reserve Group is a dynamic Queensland based company specializing in providing maintenance, operations, training & safety and support services to the mining and coal processing industries in Central Queensland.
They are seeking Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Operator Maintainers to fill multiple on-going roles for a client based in Moranbah. These roles have an immediate start and would suit those with a good working knowledge of Coal Handling Preparation Plants. The roles offer a great work–life balance, with a 5/4 roster.
As CHPP Operator Maintainer, you will possess the following:
- A Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CHPP Operator
- Relevant RII’s for CHPP
- Trade certified
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Induction Training Statement of Attainment Certificate or BMA induction
- Drivers License or Passport
Trades people with minimal operating experience are still encouraged to apply.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
