Grasstree Mine is located near the town of Middlemount, in Central Queensland. As part of Anglo American, Grasstree Mine is helping build a leading global mining company. Achieving an Australian Underground Coal Mine record in 2015 when the team reached 10 million tonnes of run of mine production in 12 months. Grasstree is committed to creating sustainable value safely and responsibly and sharing the benefits of mining with our communities to make a real difference.
Grasstree Mine currently has the following vacancies for ongoing work on a 7on 7off roster:
- $121 per hour Sub Contractor or $101 per hour Casual
- 12.5hr shifts
Underground Shot firer/Assistant
- $64 per hour Casual or $56.09 per hour Fixed Term
- 12 hour shifts
Development Operator
- $64 per hour Casual or $56.09 per hour Fixed Term
- Rotating Afternoon / Nights
Development Electrician
- $81.50 per hour Casual
- Rotating Afternoon / Nights
Development Fitter
- $70 per hour Casual
- Rotating Afternoon / Nights
The following will be provided to successful candidates:
- Accommodation and meals
- Laundered uniforms
- Bus Transport to and from Camp
