The Opportunity:

A rewarding residential opportunity now exists for an experienced Administration Support to join our team.Working a Monday to Friday roster and directly reporting to the Manager CHPP, this position will be responsible for providing efficient administrative support to the Coal Handling Process Plant Operations whilst completing a range of administrative functions.

We are seeking an applicant who thinks strategically, is a problem solver, organised and driven with proven experience of an administrative nature. The successful applicant shall have highly developed capabilities in the areas of decision making whilst displaying initiate and the ability to drive positive outcomes. The successful applicant will be situated at the front office of the CHPP and will be their central point of contact.  This is a fast paced working environment where excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with ability to adapt to an ever changing working environment.

To be successful within this position, applicants shall have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Demonstrated commitment to personal and team safety.
  • A minimum of 2 years site administration experience working within the mining/resources sector or a similar working environment.
  • Qualifications to at least Certificate III level in Business Administration or a minimum of 3 years within a relevant administration site base role.
  • Demonstrated experience in MS Office Suite, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook at a minimum of Intermediate Level.
  • Proven experience to generate and produce presentations utilising the above MS office tools effectively and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Pulse and Gallagher systems highly regarded however not essential.
  • Effective communicator at various levels with the ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Above average time management skills with the ability to juggle a multitude of tasks concurrently.
  • Proficiency at recording meeting minutes and maintaining action registers.
  • A high level of professional presentation.
  • A car (C class) drivers licence
