Workshop Floater– Heavy Duty Fitter

Workshop Floater Heavy Duty Fitter Perth WA

Allied Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitter for work residential and FIFO as required.

Working a FIFO roster from Perth, the main responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out major component change outs, across various local and remote mine sites – including Boddington, Roy Hill and Murrin Murrin
  • Roster will vary from site to site
  • Able to work in a team or autonomously
  • Must be available to cover annual leave for permanent staff

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Hold relevant trade qualifications of Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience conducting maintenance work on various mining equipment
  • Previous experience on either Hitachi, CAT, Komatsu or John Deere
  • Experience with onsite breakdowns.
  • Must be able to pass DAS and Full medical including a workcover hearing test
