Infrastructure work will begin late January after IronClad Mining received final approval for its Wilcherry Hill Mine Project on the Eyre Peninsula in S.A. located 30km north of the township of Kimba. The Wilcherry Hill Project consists of four tenements and covers an area of 976 square kilometres. The tenements are EL4162-Wilcherry Hill, EL4286-Valley Dam, EL4421-Peterlumbo, EL3981-Eurilla Dam.
The new iron ore mine will create about 150 mining jobs, which will benefit locals.

IronClad Executive Chairman Ian Finch said, “We are focusing on the employment of local people in order to enhance the project’s connection with the area’s community while at the same time building a reliable workforce”�”
The joint mining venture project between IronClad and Trafford Resources Ltd, hopes to see exports begin June 2012.
This year will generate one million tonnes, however, that figure will increase to two million by 2013.
This latest mine approval adds pressure to a sector that`s already starved of qualified mine ready employees.
