Client is one of the largest coal producers and exporters with several sites located across the Bowen Basin Region in Queensland. Currently available are several positions for experienced operators to work on a 7/7 FIFO roster.
Your new role
This position will see you working within a team and will require you to operate various heavy machinery in an open cut mining environment. These vacancies give you the opportunity to up-skill and further your knowledge and experience within the industry.
To be a suitable applicant for this position you will require the following:
- Current drivers license
- CAT 789+ dump truck ticket
- 12+ months on site mining experience
- Ability to work within a team

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen. The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
