Experienced Underground in Mining, Fitters and Electricians
ABM Contractors is a leading service provider to the Coal Industry with a comprehensive range of skilled personnel across all aspects of the Underground Mining Industry including – Fault Driveage, Development Driveage, Out-Bye services, Conveyor Installation and Maintenance.
They are currently seeking underground experienced Operators, Fitters and Electricians, who display excellent risk management and safety behaviours and a driven productivity focus.
Desirable skills and experience – Operators:
- Continuous Miner Tickets
- QDS & Hand Held Bolters
- LHD Tickets
- Miner Bolter Tickets
- Shuttle Car Tickets
- Development Experience
- Conveyor Experience
- Out-Bye Services
- VCD Installation Experience
Desirable skills and experience – Trades:
- Development/Conveyor mechanical and electrical experience
- Underground diesels experience
- Development Experienced – Mechanical & Electrical
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 12 Months Underground Experience
- Current QLD Underground Coal Board Medical – Section 4
- Current Standard 11 Induction Training Underground & Surface
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening (Within 14 Days)
