Chandler Macleod have an urgent requirement for an experienced Jumbo Operator to join a major gold mining organization at it’s mine site in the Northern Territory . This is an ongoing role on a 2 and 1 FIFO basis from either Perth, Darwin or Alice Springs.
About The Role
Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the Jumbo Operator will carry out underground drilling operations for development blasting, ground support and sampling works within the mine. You will contribute to, and participate in, a flexible and motivated team who are committed to the achievement of quality production goals. You will operate within the shift to ensure optimum productivity in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience operating a Jumbo.
- Competent in bolt and mesh, and boring.
- Valid drivers license.
- Previous Underground experience
- Sound knowledge, skills and experience in underground mining.
- Good communication skills
- Proven ability to recognize and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proven ability to contribute to team outcomes.
You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgment to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
