A successful hardrock operation in Central NSW that is currently undergoing substantial growth is seeking an Underground Mine Supervisor.
Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, you will be responsible for effective leadership of the mine crew to maximize productivity and meet weekly schedules as well as managing performance of mining crews.
Residing in a NSW mining hub, you will work Monday to Friday and enjoy a family friendly lifestyle and excellent sporting, education and medical facilities. Avoid a long and timely trip to site with a short daily commute to site enabling precious family time every evening.You will be provided with extensive autonomy and an attractive remuneration package including housing assistance, relocation and performance incentives along with outstanding progression opportunities in a mining company who promote from within.
As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced Mine Supervisor within underground hardrock operations (eg. 4-5 years in a similar role).

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.

It's a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine that has enhanced power management capability for maximum hauling performance. The C175-16 is a 16-cylinder, four-stroke design that uses long, effective power strokes for optimum efficiency.
