With the first production unit fully manned, UGM is seeking applications from safety focused and motivated Experienced Underground.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years underground mining experience working in an applied for underground role.
  • Trades persons must possess an Australian recognized Trade Certificate and Certificate of Proficiency.
  • Electricians must have current Electrical Supervisors/Contractors License and High Voltage Switching, EEHA and advantage.
  • Fitters with Hydraulics qualifications well regarded
  • Current Drivers License
  • QLD Standard 11 Induction Training with Underground competency or be willing to obtain
  • Current QLD Coal Board Medical or be able to pass prior to employment
  • Genuine commitment to health, safety, community and environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously when required and as part of a team; and
  • A high level of motivation and attention to detail.
