Underground Coal Miner
Your new employer works both within Australia and around the World, offering drilling services to the mining industry. This organisation has just been awarded new contracts within the Narrabri region, thus requiring more staff onsite.
About the role
An opportunity has become available for an experience underground coal miner to fill a current vacancy onsite within the Narrabri mining Pits. This will be an onsite role that is start immediate to assist drilling teams to move and operate different drill rigs. This position will be reporting to the supervisor and must adhere to all company policies in regards to PPE, Drugs and Alcohol and performance standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced underground coal miner that has previously worked in an underground mind and potentially has held a work along permit for an underground mine. You will need to be confident and preferable experience with:
- Operating underground mobile equipment
- Adhering to all safety standards onsite
- Commitment to all OHS policies onsite
- Current Full Drivers Licence
It would be preferable that the successful candidates currently holds an Order 41 Coal Board Medical ...*Coal Board Medical* or ability to pass such medical.
You will have a strong track record in being able to follow direction, to work autonomously but also able to work as part of a team to reach the required deliverable.
