About the client:

Their Client is a Muswellbrook local mine who began operations in 2010. They are responsible for supplying thermal coal to both the domestic and exports markets.

About this trainee dump truck job:

Have you been chasing an opportunity to commence a career in the mines? Here it is! They are seeking applications from those who would like to undertake a 12 month Dump Truck Traineeship program, at a local Muswellbrook Mine. The successful candidates will be committed to the completion of their Traineeship and will be required to operate on a 4 panel roster- 12.5 hour shifts.

Duties and responsibilities for this entry-level job: 

  • Operate machinery for 12.5 hours
  • Follow a 4 panel rotating roster (2/3/3/2)
  • Contribute to meeting KPI targets within the coal production environment

Skills & experience for this mining position: 

  • ‘Can Do’ Attitude
  • Full and current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical including a D&A test
  • MUST be able to provide a residential address within 60kms of the mine site
