Supervisor – Clermont Open Cut Coal Mine – Load & Dump Truck

Clermont Open Cut Coal Mine is seeking an experienced Load and Dump Supervisor to join a team of highly motivated leaders. This role attracts a family friendly 7 / 7 roster.

Reporting directly to the Superintendent Load and Dump, in this position you will be accountable for maintaining a safe workplace, providing effective leadership and leading the Load and Dump Team to achieving agreed KPI’s which will align with achievable and measurable planning targets. Being able to work collaboratively with their Planning department will be how you will assist the team to succeed.

You will also be accountable for the development of an efficient Load and Dump crew, including excavators, Shovel’s, Dozers and Loader operators. You will be responsible for loading production which includes waste, coal removal, dump management and planning of pit. You will be accountable in minimizing process variation and ensuring that all equipment is consistently operating at its optimal capacity.

You will be constantly challenged in this role and you will be expected to continually identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, manage resources effectively and add value working in partnership with the rest of the Mining Team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience expected of an effective, influential and motivation leader. You will be required to have extensive open cut mining experience and effective people management skills.
