SES Labour Solutions have an urgent requirement for 4 skilled Forklift Operators with experience on 45+ tonne forklifts in mining. The roles will be site based for a Shutdown project in the Central Bowen Basin, with work going through until the New Year.

To be considered you must have the following:

  • Minimum 12 months Forklift experience (45t +)
  • High Risk Forklift RII
  • Current Drivers License & reliable vehicle
  • Valid Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 Induction Training
  • Ability to pass regular D&A testing

The roles will see you work a 7/7 rotating day / night roster with comfortable camp and meals provided. The roles are DIDO with transport to site provided from camp each day. Anglo Grasstree mine inducted candidates are highly regraded yet not essential. An attractive hourly rate with public holiday uplift provided for the right people.

About the Bowen Basin mining region, Queensland.

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
