Multi-skilled roles: CAT D10, D11 Dozers , Excavators O&K 340 & Hitachi 5500/2500, Graders 16’s and Haul/Dump Trucks.
About the Role
You will be required to operate P& H 4100 Shovel and experience on other mobile plant equipment preferred, this could include CAT D10, D11 Dozers , Excavators O&K340 & Hitachi 5500/2500, Graders 16’s and Haul Trucks
Have previous on P& H 4100 Shovel Experience
Other Mining experience on Dozers, Excavators, Graders or Dump Truck also highly regarded
Current Drivers Licence
Current Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
Standard 11 Induction Training
You must have a Production oriented, with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company.
High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
Your key focus is safety.

About the Bowen Basin
The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
