Shotfirers Blast Crew Goldfields Roster FIFO Mining Perth WA
BGC Contracting Pty Ltd is a contract mining and civil construction company with operations in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
Starting from humble beginnings, BGC Contracting has evolved to become one of Australia’s premier mining and construction contractors over the course of time. BGC Contracting is a industry leading player in the provision of mining and construction services across resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
The successful candidates will need to have strong blasting experience on previous open pit mining projects in Australia. You will need to have experience in the design and reading of shot plans. Experience operating IT Loaders and using ShotPlus is preferred but not essential. You will require a valid Australian drivers license, a current WA Unrestricted Shotfirers License and a current Dangerous Goods Security Card. You will also need to be able to provide a National Police Clearance certificate.
The shot-firer and blast crew will join the team on a 2&1 roster that will FIFO from Perth and will be living in camp accommodation.
