Waco Kwikform are searching for experienced Scaffolders for the following PERMANENT positions to work at various sites in the Central QLD area.

  • Scaffolder Supervisor
  • Scaffolder – Must hold Intermediate or Advanced High Risk ticket

Requirements for Scaffolder Mining Jobs Mackay: 

  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Standard 11 Induction Training – Statement of Attainment
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Work at Heights Qualification
  • Confined Space Qualification
  • Current Gas Test Atmosphere Qualification
  • Current Supervisor Qualifications (S123 & G2) for the Supervisor position
  • The candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment and Drug & Alcohol test.  Candidate must also be able to pass every ongoing Drug & Alcohol screening.

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
