They are seeking applications from highly motivated, skilled and safety focused Fitters to join UGL BMA Maintenance Roaming Crew for 3 to 5 days a week of work on various coal sites within the QLD Bowen Basin region on an ongoing basis.
What are the benefits of being part of the UGL BMA Maintenance Roaming Crew?
- You will be part of a specific crew responsible for continuously servicing certain mine sites within the Bowen Basin.
- This scheduled work should offer you continuity of work, giving you a forecast of your scheduled work, month to month.
- Excellent rates of pay.
To be successful in obtaining a position, it is essential that you provide evidence of the following:
- Relevant Qualifications (Trade Cert)
- Current S11/BMA (SOA)
- Current Coal Board Medical (Section 4)
- Current Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Demonstrated mine site or heavy industry experience
Various Bowen Basin Mine Site Inductions would also be highly preferable, however not necessary.

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
