Qualified Road Train Operator – FIFO Perth
MLG Oz is a West Australian owned and operated business with operations located throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Starting as a small contractor providing silica mining & haulage services for BHP Billiton back in 2000, operations have since expanded to include crushing and screening, quarry products, bulk transport services and site civil works.
About the role
They are currently seeking experienced Road Train Operators to join existing Kalgoorlie operations.
- FIFO Perth
- 2:1 Roster ( Day and nightshift)
Job tasks and responsibilities
To be successful in your application, you will need demonstrated extensive experience with:
- Road Train Operations
- Quad Side Tippers
- Front End Loaders
- Experience in the operation of Load-rite weighing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction to achieve work outcomes
Successful applicants will possess or able obtain the following:
- Current West Australian MC Driver’s License.
- National police check (less than 12 months old) or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and Commercial drivers medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Standard 11 Mining Induction
The Standard 11 is a workplace health and safety package for the Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII).
If your job means you must access a Queensland coal mine site - you'll need a Standard 11.
The Standard 11 covers essential safety and procedures training designed to keep you and other workers safe from injury and harm when working on site.
