Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic FIFO MOOMBA QLD-iMINCO.net Mining Information

They currently have an opportunity for a trade qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic. This will be an immediate start with a view to permanency for the right applicant. This FIFO role is ex-Adelaide or Ex-Brisbane. 15 on 13 off roster, flights ex Adelaide or Brisbane.

The purpose of the position is to repair and maintain heavy duty machines and associated products to ensure quality support service expectations are met. Roles vary from stationary and mobile plants, to working on highway trucks, heavy earthmoving equipment and agricultural machinery. Duties;

  • Repair and maintain heavy duty machinery and associated products
  • Repairing and servicing underground trucks, loaders and mining equipment
  • Completing paperwork as require

Skills & Experience;

  • Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Heavy Vehicle Road Transport) or Certificate in Heavy
  • Vehicle Mechanics or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
  • Current Drivers License
  • HR license
  • Hi ab ticket
  • LF Fork lift license
  • Dogging and Rigging ticket
  • Santos ID preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Moomba area is advantageous

Applicants must adhere to all of clients WHS standards and safety procedures. Random drug and alochol testing will be undertaken on all sites. Pre Employment medical pre offer of permanency with client. Police check required if successful in obtaining a FIFO role.
