As next Production Operator reporting to the Mining Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Location
Peak Downs Mine is located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.

- Truck Operators
Requirements
To be considered for these opportunities you are required to have:
- Experience operating the above listed machinery (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in open cut coal mining
- Relevant coal mining certifications
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
- Be committed to principles of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Delivery
Roster & Conditions
- 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
- 12.5 hour day shift/ 10.5 hour night shift
- Permanent Position
- A bus will be provided from Mackay to site
- No FIFO is provided for this position

The Queensland Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.
The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen.
The Bowen Basin covers a total area of over 60,000 square kilometres and is located in Central Queensland; running from Collinsville to Theodore. The entire region is home to many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
