Plant Operators River Murray Broken Hill Pipeline NSW

MPC Group, in a joint venture with John Holland has been awarded a contract by Water NSW to design and construct the 270km River Murray to Broken Hill Pipeline. The pipeline will secure long-term water supply for the city of Broken Hill, with first water due to be supplied in December 2018.

The John Holland MPC Joint Venture will deliver design and construction of:

  • a 270km mild steel pipeline
  • four pumping stations
  • a 720ML water storage dam
  • HV power
  • a solar farm.

Currently seeking experienced Operators across the following range of Machinery:

  • 35t Excavators
  • Vac Lift
  • Grader
  • Dozer
  • Trencher
  • Padder
  • Float
  • Water Cart

Plant Operators River Murray Broken Hill Pipeline NSW

Preference will be given to local residents, however other suitable candidates will be considered for on a FIFO arrangement. 

All candidates must have the following;

  • Current license/ticket for the above mentioned machinery
  • Experience as an Operator in the construction industry
  • Current Open Drivers license
  • 4WD qualification desirable

Multiple positions are available.  Multi-skilled operators will be highly regarded, however it is essential that you have current tickets, licenses and relevant experience for at least one of the above mentioned positions as a minimum.

You will work a project roster of 21 days on site and 7 days off.  If your skills, experience and competencies match the criteria listed above, apply now!
