About the Role
WorkPac has been appointed as a Managed Workforce Provider for Mount Isa Mines. Permanent opportunities exist for Paste Plant/Loader Operators which will contribute to the successful operations of this mine site.
Locally-based candidates are preferred and will be considered for secured employment contracts, which includes paid leave entitlements. Additionally, generous relocation incentives will be offered to successful candidates who move to Mount Isa.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe and effective operation of CAT980/988 surface loaders
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping on equipment
- General labouring duties
Skills/Experience
- Have experience in a similar role
- Experience operating mid size surface loaders
- Current C class manual drivers license
- Loader ticket preferred
- A medical including drug and alcohol testing is required as part of the recruitment process
