Thiess’ Mt Owen Coal Mine Project is located 25km north of Singleton in the Hunter Valley.
Thiess currently has opportunities for highly motivated people to join there team at the Mt Owen Coal Mine.
They are seeking Experienced Multi-skilled Production Operators with open cut experience and refined operating skills in plant including Liebherr 996, 9400 and 9350 excavators, D10 and D11 dozer, 16M graders, and other ancillary equipment. You will also be competent operating mining trucks in addition to any of the above listed equipment.
Reporting to OCE/Mining Supervisor you will have;
- Initiative and a flexible approach to work
- Good communication skills with the willingness to be part of a high performance team
- Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards
- Experience in operating large heavy plant
- Ability to work to directions and be self motivated
The role requires work on a rotating even time 12hr shift roster that will include day, night and weekend work.
