Multiple Drill Fitters Required at Callide Mine
The client provides leading mechanical, fabrication and electrical service provider to the Central Queensland region, providing services to the mineral resources and processing industries.
With the mining boom taking off again in the region they are needing four Drill Fitters to assist at Callide Mine specializing in Drill maintenance & break down site repairs.
You will be required to have:
- Past mining experience
- Knowledge & expertise with drill rigs
- Fitter Trade Qualifications
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Induction Training
- Callide Site induction can be supplied
- Able to work responsibly unsupervised & as part of a team
- Safety conscious
In return on offer is:
- Pay rate $42.50/hour (FLAT) for first 8 hours then $55 per hour (FLAT) for remaining hours. Saturday and Sunday all hours $55 per hour flat.
- Daily Site Allowance $48
- Night Site Allowance $96
- Travel paid – $34/hour
- 5:4 roster
- Shared transport is a possibility Rockhampton
- Site Vehicle supplied
- Camp Accommodation & meals supplied in Biloela
- Permanent job opportunities available after three months – performance based
- ASAP start
- Candidates preferred who are seeking long term job opportunities
