About the role:
They are currently seeking high calibre Multi Skilled Production Operators at Coppabella Mine. Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140km southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets.
An excellent opportunity is available at Coppabella Mine for experienced Multi Skilled Production Operators who have extensive experience operating at least 2 of the following: trucks (electric preferred), graders, loaders, dozers, large excavators orelectric rope shovels. They are seeking outstanding individuals who have a strong focus on safety, have the relevant experience and leadership capability to join the Peabody team.
The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 7/7 day/night roster on 10 hour shifts and can allow residential, DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
About You:
- Strong commitment to safety as a way of life
- Have extensive truck operating experience (electric preferred)
- Extensive experience operating graders, loaders, dozers, large excavators or electric rope shovels
- Ability to meet and exceed set targets
- Open cut mining experience
- An effective team player
