Mining Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators

Nobul is on the lookout for Haul truck and Multi-skilled Operators for mining work around the southern end of the Bowen Basin.

This role will see you working closely with an Australian renowned mining company who has multiple sites across the Bowen Basin. With major work going on at the moment they are looking for a minimum of 5x Multi-skilled operators and 5x Haul truck operators to join their team.

Skills & experience 

  • Current Standard 11 *Standard 11 Training* and Coal Board Medical
  • Previous experience on a mine site
  • Experience operating:
    • Haul Truck 777 and above
    • Dozers D9 and above
    • Loaders 990 and above
    • Grader 14 and above
  • Must be Safety driven
  • Copies of RII's [...Learn about RII's]’s
  • Drivers License

The Bowen Basin contains the largest coal reserves in Australia. This major coal producing region contains one of the world’s largest deposits of bituminous coal.

The Basin contains much of the known Permian coal resources in Queensland including virtually all of the known mineable prime coking coal. It was named for the Bowen River, itself named after Queensland’s first Governor, Sir George Bowen. The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore and is dotted with many coal mines operated by multiple mining companies.
