Plant Operator / Truck Driver & Labourers required for Roma
Programmed Skilled Workforce require Plant Operator / Truck Driver & Labourers to work locally in the Roma QLD area. Roma based, locally living applicants encouraged to apply or applicants willing to accommodate themselves in the area as this is a local role.
This position is to work in the Civil Construction field based in Roma Regional QLD, however you will be required to work in the regional surrounding areas of Roma. These rosters could consists of but not limited to; Monday to Friday, standard hours up to 38+ hours per week / 76 hours per fortnight with overtime when required or 10 days on 4 days off. Flexibility is of the utmost importance to be able to camp away whilst working away from Roma.
Suitable applicants will be required to have the following licenses, VOCs and experience.
- C Class to HR / HC Drivers License (with experience operating Water Trucks)
- White Card (Construction)
- Roller Verification of competency
- Front End Loader Verification of competency
- Excavator Verification of competency
- Skid Steer Verification of competency
- Grader Verification of competency
- Traffic Control Ticket Chainsaw Certificate
- Experience within Civil Construction and Maintenance

The 793F has a load cpacityof 226.8 ton (US) and a top speed of 60 kilometres an hour. It's a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine that has enhanced power management capability for maximum hauling performance. Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)
Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.
RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
