Mobile Plant Operator – Mine Sites Western Australia
WorkPac is partnered with RioTino and are currently seeking the following Mobile plant operators/ All Rounders to work at one of their Pilbara based mine sites. These positions are casual ongoing.
About the Role:
- 7:7 roster
- DS/ NS
- FIFO from Perth
- OR or DIDO from Karratha
If you are an All rounder, Production Loader or Production Digger Operator as per the following equipment please apply.
- Excavator Hitachi EX2500 & upwards,
- Loaders – Komatsu WA900/WA1200, CAT992/993/994,
- Graders – CAT 16H – 24M
- Dump Trucks -CAT 789/793
- Dozers – CAT D10–D11,
Selection Criteria include:
- Current C Class Drivers License is essential
- Willingness to operate all types of equipment as required (including haul & water trucks)
- Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including DAS screen
- Demonstrated track record of working safely
- Willingness to work night & day shifts
- Provide two contactable referees?

Caterpillar Haul truck 793
The 793F has a load cpacityof 226.8 ton (US) and a top speed of 60 kilometres an hour. It's a turbocharged air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine that has enhanced power management capability for maximum hauling performance. The C175-16 is a 16-cylinder, four-stroke design that uses long, effective power strokes for optimum efficiency.
The 793F, is an autonomous-driven truck. Over 100 793F trucks are now operating via Command for hauling, the Cat autonomous truck operations system, which is a part of Cat MineStar™

Standard 11 Mining Induction
The Standard 11 is a workplace health and safety package for the Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII).
If your job means you must access a Queensland coal mine site - you'll need a Standard 11.
The Standard 11 covers essential safety and procedures training designed to keep you and other workers safe from injury and harm when working on site.
There are 6 units of study (competency) in the Standard 11. This course can not be completed online. Find out more about how you can complete the Standard 11 Mining Induction at a location close to you
