Mobile Plant Mechanical Fitter – FIFO QLD

About the role

The successful candidate will work a lifestyle roster of 7 days on 7 days off with a global mining giant. They will also have demonstrated experience working on heavy earth moving equipment, with experience on Caterpillar equipment being an advantage. The role is residential or FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns, with accommodation and meals provided for FIFO workers.

The ideal person will have experience in repairing mobile and plant equipment along with a positive attitude which will see you complete this role in a safe and efficient manner. This role will require you to work both independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating a high standard of professional workmanship.

To be successful for this role you will need;

• Valid Manual Drivers License (C Class or higher)
• Australian Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter
• Ability to pass low risk Medical and Physical
• Demonstrated experience on heavy earth moving equipment and experience in a similar position is an advantage
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment
