WorkPac are urgently seeking experienced Surface Haul Truck Operators for work at a local Mt Isa mine site. There are multiple positions on offer, the work will initially be for up to 12 months with possibility of being ongoing.
To apply, please ensure you meet the following criteria.
-Cat 777 experience (preferred)
-Tailings dam experience (preferred)
-Current open drivers licence
-MIM medical or willing to obtain
-MIM inductions or willing to obtain
The successful applicant must be reliable, punctual, flexible and show a positive attitude as there will be some elements of manual labour within the project. The roster is 7/7, day shift only. Applicants must currently reside in Mt Isa or be willing to relocate immediately at their own expense.

Caterpillar Haul truck 777
The Caterpillar 777 is a 100-ton haul truck, typically used in open pit mining, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. The first model of Caterpillar 777 was introduced in 1974. Its diesel engine is capable of putting out 870 horsepower. The 777D, introduced in 1996, was powered by a 938-horsepower diesel.
This truck is one of the entry-level haul trucks most new operators will learn on. Once competent, they will move up to the larger 785, especially when working on a coal mining site.
