Mining Induction – Brisbane 21st March 2014
Mining training courses prepare new starters, trades and professional people for working on a mine site. The mining training courses known as Mining Induction, or Standard 11, are training courses that introduces the relevant legislation and safety procedures over 2 full days.
Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment is one of the highest priorities for mining companies. This course covers mining operations in both coal and metalliferous mining (gold, silver, nickel, copper etc).
Mining Induction, Standard 11, Generic Coal Induction?
There has been confusion as to the different types of mining training courses that are available. The course name has changed over the years with the introduction of State legislation. Mining training courses were often referred to as Mining Inductions, Standard 11 Inductions or just a Generic Induction.
They are all the same course which will give you the same nationally recognised qualification after completion.

This mining training course focuses on education around the Work, Health and Safety of all mine site workers. This course is also helpful for people who are required to supply goods and services to a mine site where their physical presence is required.
Requirements
- Dress comfortably (enclosed shoes required).
- Bring ID.
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to commencement.
