Mining Development Electrical Coordinator- Oaky North Mine

An opportunity currently exists for an Development Electrical Coordinator to join the team at Oaky Creek Coal, Oaky North Mine. Reporting to the Development Superintendent, the Development Electrical Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and coordinating of all electrical maintenance activities in the Development panel to contribute to safe and efficient production, maintaining compliance to Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations, compliance to the relevant Australian Standards and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in equipment utilization and development production performance.

You will ensure the availability and performance of equipment necessary to meet the Development drivage plan.

Ideally the successful candidate will have proven experience and skills in the planning and/or operation of highly productive mining systems. This should preferably be in association with underground coal, particularly development. Candidates must have well developed management and people skills, a high level of computer literacy and demonstrate expertise in scheduling, mine planning and forecast management.

Oaky Creek Coal are searching for an engaging and driven individual that has the passion for managing people and demonstrated visible leadership with the ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be held in high regard.

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ experience in development, Electrical Trade Qualification, a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, good management skills and holds Supervisor qualifications.

This is a residential role based in Tieri, Central Queensland, Monday – Friday roster, permanent dayshift.
