About the role:

The role will be responsible ensure the crushing plant operates to the maximum output capacity while actively supervising all employees and subcontractors on site. You will bring with you a demonstrated understanding of all mining health and safety, legal and environmental requirements, while also putting into action new processes to further develop the site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete the required inspections, audits and HSE reports
  • Complete daily reports and submit in a timely manner
  • Schedule, plan and perform maintenance activities
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels
  • Ensure the crushing plant operates to the maximum output capacity
  • Actively supervise all employees and sub-contractors on site
  • Conduct internal training when required

Skills and Experience:

  • 2-5 Years experience in a similar mining  role.
  • Previous copper processing experience
  • High levels of experience in Crushing
  • Understanding of HSE in a mining environment.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Available for an immediate start.
  • Flights from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
